Commentsell helps grocery stores and retailers increase sales through social media. We work with 300+ stores, have generated billions of SEK in retailer revenue, and are established in Sweden and Finland. We already serve customers in North America. This is not an early idea-stage startup. We are hiring one of our first dedicated North American sales hires. You will own outbound prospecting, run demos, close deals, and help shape how we grow across the U.S. and Canada. You will work directly with the founders and have real influence over messaging, outreach strategy, and positioning. The product is easy to understand. Grocery stores and retailers sign up, connect their social media, and start running campaigns. Customers can often get started the same week. Sales cycles are short and the value proposition is concrete. This is a remote role. You can be based anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. The role begins with a 30-day trial period for both parties to ensure a strong mutual fit.

What You'll Do

  • Find and reach out to grocery stores and retailers through cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn, and any channel that works
  • Run product demos and close deals
  • Travel to stores and customer locations
  • Build and manage your own sales pipeline
  • Help shape our outreach messaging and positioning for the North American market
  • Give direct feedback to the founders on what resonates and what doesn't
  • Attend trade shows and industry events when it makes sense
  • Consistently generate new business and grow revenue

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with cold outreach and outbound prospecting
  • You've sold to small or medium businesses before
  • Comfortable picking up the phone, writing cold emails, and getting rejected
  • Self-starter who doesn't need a playbook handed to them
  • Willing to travel to stores and customer locations
  • Retail, grocery, or food industry experience is a strong plus
  • Based in the U.S. or Canada
  • No degree required

Compensation & Benefits

  • $2,500–$4,000/month base salary plus uncapped commission
  • Your total earnings depend on your results. The base keeps the lights on; the commission is where the real money is
  • Travel and business expenses covered
